About Us

Jag Daimler Spares was founded in 1990 by the late Aubery Peterson resulting from the interest and demand from early Jaguar owners that were finding it increasingly more difficult to obtain parts for their maintenance or restoration projects.

The agents were discontinuing the range of parts required to run the classics, mostly due to the high cost of having slow moving parts on the shelves for an indefinite time. Jag Daimler Spares then had stock on hand for Mk I, Mk II, 420, 420G, S- Type, E- Type all series (3.8, 4.2, and V12), XJS, and XJ6 all series from 1969 to 1984, XJ12 and the XJ40 - 3.6 and 4.0 litre Jaguar and Daimler models.

In 2006 the Company was bought by Charles Berg who subsequently streamlined operations to keep up with technology by connecting to the Internet, developing this Web site, and having an E-mail address for receiving orders or request for quotations and being able to respond much faster with feedback.

Prices on items not in stock can now be quoted on while the customer is on the phone with direct assess to our suppliers in UK's web site where special discounts apply for Jag Daimler Spares which the benefit of is passed on to the customer.

After a visit with UK suppliers in late 2007 the decision was made to expand the range of parts and Jag Daimler Spares now also carries a range of items for the later marques, S type, X type, X300 and X308 at competitive prices.

Due to a continuing investment in stock, the business now carries over 2000 lines of stock ranging at any time between R700,000.00 and R800,00.00 in value at cost.
